Kubus

Kubus has been going strong for over a decade, earning praise for his solid productions and delivering beats for a range of international artists. His work is probably most known from acclaimed Dutch hip-hop collective Opgezwolle but he has been developing his solo career ever since, taking his sound further and moving into new territory with appearances alongside Aardvarck on their ‘Bloom’ and ‘Gloom’ (Eat Concrete 2011) releases. He took on the task of fusing electro, techno and hip-hop, resulting in his unique brand of beats with deep textures and bass-heavy, aggressive rhythms. Being a hardware-synthesizer fan he can often be found in his studio tweaking knobs and building patches to find strange new sounds.
