Pete Concrete
(NL)
Dutch based DJ/producer/label-owner with a broad taste for all sorts of electronics. Started DJ-ing at the age of fourteen, initially greatly inspired by early Detroit techno, acidhouse, hiphop and IDM. Soon got involved in organising parties, started the legendary Mononom collective with his friends and founded the Mononom label on which he released his first tracks.

Known for his eclectic taste, Pete Concrete is constantly trying to stretch the boundaries of modern electronics, incorporating any style that catches his attention, be it psychedelics, dubstep, techno, ambient, jazz, industrial, hiphop or otherwise. Today he's running his Eat Concrete label for releasing own productions using several monikers, as well as music made by friends and likeminded musicians.

Pete Concrete shifts his daily activities between managing and promoting Eat Concrete records and DJ-ing all around Europe. He has finished several international tours and has shared stages with Funckarma, Knalpot, Take, Martyn, Meat Beat Manifesto, Kode 9, Moritz von Oswald Trio, Hudson Mohawke, Dimlite, Ras G, Aardvarck, Kelpe, Architeq, Orgue Electronique and many others.
Pete also hosts a radioshow on Samurai FM (Japan) and deliveres mixes for a growing number of platforms such as Ampsoul in Germany and Dublab in LA.
His own Eat Concrete label is widely regarded as one of the most influential and progressive electronica recordlabels to come out of the Netherlands and has been instrumental in the rise of a new generation of musicmakers worldwide.
