One of the most striking facts about this record is that it simply exist in the first place. Being compiled from a collection of tracks that were produced by several people, independent of one another, over several years, Sound Pure gives the impression of being made for some sort of dark film with not to many people in it. It all fits together nicely, the tracks complementing eachother naturally, sustaining an atmosphere you won’t find to often, making this a special release indeed. The fact this being only the third release to come out of Eat Concrete's short lifespan only adds up to this. It’s a fragile record with lot’s of character, some really nice and original productions and you can’t help thinking it should have been longer.
