Dubstoned 3 is equally intelligent as it is rude. Funckarma arranges light melodic tones with bass-heavy beats on this 4 (or 6) track EP. The mid tempo rhythms and sounds contrast beautifully with the crushing beats and clear production, typical of Funckarma's style. Dubstoned 3 brings more of Funckarma's unique sonic vision of breakbeat and dubstep styles, coming up with another cutting edge addition to the Dubstoned series.

The digital edition of Dubstoned 3 features an exclusive Herrmutt Lobby remix, 'Nays of Dight' and a bonus track: 'Solaz Flair'. The vinyl edition includes a unique code to a free limited download of all WAV files, including bonus tracks.



Artist Profile: Funckarma

Funckarma (1999) is the main musical output for Dutch siblings Don and Roel Funcken. Notorious for their heavy laid bass and groovy approach to electronic music, Funckarma's style is often labeled as IDM, but it always draws heavy influences from hip hop, house and dub styles. The Funcken brothers have had the attention of music lovers worldwide with releases on labels such as Warp and SKAM running other successful projects such as Cane, Quench and Shadow Huntaz.
Funckarma's live shows are infamous for their unique set up and innovating sound, they have performed around the world and have collaborated with many different artists.
They recently did remixes for artists such as Speedy J, RA-X, Funkstörung, Plaid, Céline, The Labteks, Gridlock, Anthony B, Ontayso, Spyweirdos and Machinedrum. There are also a number of successful commercial collaborations with brands such as Adidas and Nike.
